Everything you need to know

Purifiers filter particles from the same stale air. They can't remove CO₂ or bring in fresh oxygen. A purifier is a filter. Ventilation is fresh air. You need both — most of our clients keep their purifier running alongside our system.
Yes. The Astberg ERV runs as an independent fresh-air loop — it doesn't replace your AC, it works alongside it. We tap into the false ceiling, route ducting around your existing AC paths, and deliver tempered fresh air to each room. Your AC keeps cooling. We bring in oxygen.
No. The Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) transfers moisture between incoming and outgoing air streams — so in monsoon it removes excess humidity, and in winter it retains some indoor moisture. The whole point of "energy recovery" is keeping your home in a comfortable 40–60% RH band.
A whole-home Astberg ERV draws around 80–120 W on continuous run — comparable to two ceiling fans. Inline exhaust fans add 15–25 W each, and only run when needed. Net cost: roughly ₹250–400/month on your electricity bill for a 3BHK. Heat recovery actually reduces AC load.
We do install in rentals — but speak to your landlord first, since installation involves one core drill for the fresh-air intake and ducting in the false ceiling. We offer a "rental-friendly" single-room ERV option that needs only a small wall vent and can be removed cleanly. Talk to us about your specific situation.
Astberg ERV units carry a 2-year manufacturer warranty on motors and heat-exchange cores. Our installation work — ducting, sealing, controls — is covered for 1 year. Inline fans: 1 year. Annual service contract is available, recommended once your warranty period ends.
1–2 days for a typical 3BHK. Ductwork goes inside the false ceiling. One small core drill on an external wall for fresh-air intake. We mask, clean, and finish — your home looks untouched when we leave.
